Signature Racial Equity Activities

  • Created a racial equity-focused five year strategic plan
  • Created the Assistant Vice President for Equity, Inclusion and Belonging position, a Cabinet-level role
  • Created a Faculty Fellow for Diversity, Equity and Inclusivity position
  • Administered the USC NACCC surveys for students, faculty and staff
  • Restructured our search process to increase inclusion and reduce the potential impact of biases
  • Created dashboards that expand data access and utility
  • Articulating REJI work with membership in Achieving the Dream Social and Economic Mobility cohort
  • Launched New York City’s only Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation Campus Center.
